Nancy Uddin is a Native New Yorker, Muslim-Bangladeshi writer, and cultural strategist with projects across media, tech, fashion, beauty, wellness, and spirituality. She is committed to amplifying nuanced stories of women of color. She carries this mission centering identity in her role as the Deputy Editor of Cosmopolitan Middle East. At Cosmo, she focuses on brand development leading and mentoring an editorial team across social/digital/print. She also profiled inspiring talent like Jenna Ortega, Terry Crews, and Charles Leclerc. Before Cosmo, Nancy built bylines in DAZED, Vogue, and HuffPost.

Nancy is currently exploring contemporary Muslimhood in her forthcoming book. She also has also modeled in international campaigns for brands like Rick Owens and Vaquera. She studied journalism and cultural politics at New York University and is an active solo world traveler.
